27.07.09 - Prepaid365, the UK’s leading prepaid card comparison site, announced the first edition of the Prepaid365 Awards yesterday. The awards aim to recognise the best in category service provider for different categories as well as highlight a few worthy runners ups in each of those categories.
In a recently launched initiative, subject matter experts at Prepaid365 researched prepaid cards across the entire UK market in order to find the best prepaid card in different categories such as Money Transfer, Travel, Payroll, Gaming, General Spend, Online Shopping and Youth.
Aashish Sharma, Operations Director at Prepaid365, stated “The object of the awards is quite simply to recognise quality providers from across the prepaid spectrum. There are close to a 100 open loop prepaid cards in the UK market and numerous closed loop gift cards as well. At first glance, one could argue that they all seem to offer the same proposition and it is difficult for consumers to dig deeper to find the best prepaid card for their purpose.
Hence, we came up with the Prepaid365 awards. The aim is to highlight products that truly offer best in category service. We shall be doing this on a quarterly basis and the aim is to demystify prepaid cards from the consumer perspective and hand out the awards on merit, completely free from any commercial bias.”
