You can set your budget before you go, even save up for your holiday on the card and your money will be saved in either Dollars or Euros so there is no commission to pay and unlike a debit or credit card you won’t be able to spend money that you haven’t got.
Just like any MasterCard card, it is accepted all over the place, in fact over 25 Million outlets worldwide, and you can use it at over a million cashpoints as well. And if you do happen to run out of money you can easily top it up on the internet or by text.

The Good

The Not so Good
The card is Free, UK POS is free but there are usage fees. Payzone reloads are currently only limited to the UK but all in all, a small price to pay for the exceptional quality of the definitive market leading travel card.

Application Process 
You can apply for the award winning InsureandGo prepaid card in a number of ways.
- Apply online - if you have the right to reside in the UK, have a valid passport and a mobile phone then you can apply online. Your card will arrive in 10 days
- Apply by phone - You can apply for your card by calling the InsureandGo Prepaid Card Customer services team and they will help you complete your application.

Online Account Management and Self Servicing
You can service your account on the InsureandGo website or via an interactive voice response (IVR) facility. You can also use your mobile phone to manage your prepaid card account and move money between your card and other cards. You can view your balance, recent transactions and change your personal details.

Using Abroad 
The InsureandGo prepaid MasterCard card is available in GBP, USD and EURO's and is MasterCard branded. This means that you can use it at over 25 million locations that accept MasterCard worldwide. A POS transaction abroad will cost you an extremely reasonable £1.00 or equivalent in USD/EURO and an ATM withdrawal will cost you 2% of your transaction value. Using a GBP card in a USD/EURO currency territory or vice versa will incur a 3% foreign exchange cost but with three currencies to choose from, you should be able to avoid this fee.

Reload Options
Funds can be loaded on to your InsureandGo Prepaid Card in a number of ways:
- Using Cash at any Payzone outlet - 4% of load amount
- Internet top up using your debit card - £1.00
- SMS/Phone top-up using your debit card - £1.00
- Card load from another InsureandGo Card - 5% of load amount

Complaints Procedure
The InsureandGo prepaid MasterCard card customer services team promise to investigate and resolve all queries with 14 days. You can use the ‘Contact Us’ facility on the InsureandGo Website to get in touch and detail your complaint.
