Application Process  

The application process for the ICE Travellers Cashcard couldn’t be easier! You simply register your details with ICE online, a process which takes only a few minutes, then you go ahead and order your card(s).

• Apply Online: if you are over 18, have the right to reside in the UK and have a valid passport or UK driving license. ICE will not carry out any credit checks on you, simply a basic identity check. If they can identify you at the address you have given, you can go ahead and order a card immediately.

Your ICE travel card should be with you within 5 days of ordering. Once it has arrived, a simple activation process is required and your card is ready to use instantly.

ICE International Travellers Cashcard GBP (STERLING):

• Transaction Fee UK – FREE.
• ATM Withdrawal Fee UK – FREE.
• Reload Fee – 1.85% via Debit or Bank Transfer, Additional 1.50% by Credit Cards.

ICE EURO Travellers Cashcard (EURO):

• Card Issue Fee -FREE.
• Monthly Fee – FREE.
• Transaction Fee UK – FREE*.
• ATM Withdrawal Fee UK – FREE.
• Reload Fee – FREE via Debit or Bank Transfer, 1.50% by Credit Cards.

ICE US DOLLAR Travellers Cashcard (USD):

• Card Issue Fee – FREE.
• Monthly Fee – FREE.
• Transaction Fee UK – FREE*.
• ATM Withdrawal Fee UK – FREE.
• Reload Fee – FREE via Debit or Bank Transfer, 1.50% by Credit Cards.

*Unlike some currency cards, there are NO FX fees charged for using your ICE travel card for purchases in any country, regardless of which of the three currency cards you using – Awesome indeed!

Account Management  

Customers can log into their account online 24/7 via the ICE PLC website and manage their ICE Travellers Cashcard account. Some of the online account management functions include:

• Ability to top-up card balances instantly by credit/debit card.
• View balance, statements and order history.
• Suspend a lost/stolen card instantly.
• Customers can also call an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) facility 24/7 to be reminded what their PIN number is, so no more worries about forgetting those crucial 4 digits!

Using Abroad  

As the name suggests, the ICE Travellers Cashcard is designed specifically for card use abroad.

When you use your ICE travel card, you will not incur any fees whatsoever for using your card for purchases or ATM withdrawals in any country, regardless of which currency card you use (Euro, US Dollar or Sterling). Plus, you will earn 1% Cashback every time you use your Euro or US Dollar card to make a purchase.

As a Mastercard® branded prepaid card, the ICE currency card can be used at over 30 million locations that accept Mastercard® around the globe .

Reload Options  

Funds can be loaded on to your ICE Travellers Cashcard in a number of ways using any of the methods below.

• Debit Card Online or phone – FREE**
• Bank Transfer – FREE**
• Credit Card Online or phone – 1.50%**

**Note: Whilst there is no additional charge for loading EUR/USD cards, there is a small additional 1.85% upfront charge to load the GBP Card. The minimum load amount is £50 for GBP cards or equivalent for Euro and US Dollar cards.

Complaints Procedure  

ICE believes that every customer has the right to a fair, swift and courteous service at all times.

If you wish to make a formal complaint about the ICE Travellers Cashcard, you should send your complaint in writing to Cashcard@iceplc.com or through the post to the Customer Services Manager, ICE PLC, Albany Court Yard, 47/48 Piccadilly, London, W1J 0LR.

ICE will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days of receipt. ICE will investigate your complaint and endeavour to send a final response to you within 8 weeks of receipt of your complaint. If ICE are unable to provide you with a final response within this time they will send you an update.

If more than 8 weeks from the date of your complaint has past and you haven’t received a final response, or you are dissatisfied with the final response you have received or at any stage of the process you can write to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). You must refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman within 6 months of the date on the final response.
